The soda and Salad 🥗 dressing is worth the visit. Everything was fresh and pickles tasted great! Friendly staff, interesting fun conversation customers and in a friendly neighborhood. Please come on down! It’s worth the trip.

Been going to this place for 30 years. Love the char grilled burgers and mini burgers. Mozzarella bites are excellent.

Cute place, delicious food. Loved the onion things-thats how "onion rings" should be made!!! And the root beer is delicious.

My family loves the food but the last time I tried to call in order, the worker answered and was told I would have to hold while he took someone who walked in's order. He sat phone down on counter and heard him take order after order for the next 20+ min. I finally just hanged up and we went elsewhere. Poor customer service on taking orders. Need to have second person for phone orders.

Awesome food. Never have to wait very long even when they're busy. Great prices too! You have to ask for the sauce you want or you may not get it. Best mini mozzarella sticks in the area.

This homemade root beer is sometimes the only reason I get up in the morning after a long night of drowning my sorrows. I don't drink anymore, but I still love those sliders.

Awesome food, great people and good prices. The jalapeno burger, portabella mushroom toasted ravioli, and home made root beer is highly addictive. Also it's hard to beat a great steak, baked potato, and cheese garlic bread for under $20. Gourmet, Mom & Pops style.

Awesome food and great root beer. I don't live near by, so anytime we are in the area we make a point to stop and get root beer, if time allows food too. Dive bar, cozy, chic dining room, get your food to go.

This place has been an amazing place every since I was a child. My grandfather used to take me there as a child and every time I visit Illinois I make sure I go there. All of the people there are very friendly and the food is always absolutely delicious

Great burger as I had the 1 lb cheeseburger. I would come back for it alone. The fries were OK, I might omit them next time as the burger was more than enough.

The food is great but they want to nickel & dime you for every extra on your burgers. $.50 per vegetable. It makes me want to not return.

I've eaten at Mini Corral about 6 or 7 times over the past seven years. And every time I've eaten there, it seems like I come out feeling like I ate a bunch of heavy greasy fast food. They pride themselves on their homemade rootbeer. But I have to say, everytime I try it, I feel like I ate too much candy. Honestly, I do not understand why people eat here. Maybe it's just me, or maybe I just need to fork over about $10 bucks and try the sirloin steak. Because I never seem to feel good after eating at this joint. I give Mini Corral a giant thumbs-down after all my experiences eating there. Sorry, but that's my honest opinion.

First rate burgers and fries but there is always a fair wait, especially if they are short staffed. Only a few (5-6) dine in tables, but it's not like the decor is going to make you want to stay and eat in. Cashiers are always friendly despite the hectic pace they work at.

Got the dozen cheeseburgers, I can remember getting these back in the 90's and they're still as good today!

Excellent steak fries and their sliders are great. Also some of the best hot wings I've ever had. They take debit now so call in ahead of time and pick up some of the best food in the area.

Along with there great customer service, Mini Corral also has a nice selection of good food to pick off the menu. I love ordering cheeseburgers, pulled pork barbecue. I always enjoy getting one those are root beers so, they're great

Great burgers and frys

This place has been around for 20 plus years and is an awesome Alton area icon. The dining area is not real big, so you may consider take out instead. The food is delicious and never ceases to make me happy. There is something for every member of the family. Even the pickiest person could find something to eat here, and still have an enjoyable experience. Lastly the staff is always super accommodating and really nice. No complaints here whatsoever.

We in 30 minutes from closing and got great friendly service and awesome food. Thank you closing staffers some places would have been totally different.

Bad experience coupled with no customer service equals a bad review. An hour ago i set out to get food. Get home to find my sampler box of burgers includes 6 pain burgers and 6 cheese burgers. No pickle or onion even after you he asks and you say yes please. I was super considerate of how busy he made it all seem but onlybif i got decent food. 30 dollars later i have a plain burger and soggy fries in front of me. Cant call them tho since he was soo busy wiping off the counter. Eaten there for 30 years, i will again, but this was a waste of money.

Amazing food and staff, the homemade rootbear is a must try! Relatively quick service, but I recommend calling ahead for your order. Easy to see online menu, and good prices for good food.

The owners sister is the perfect person to be upfront. She was very pleasant and when the first thing you see walking in is a smiling face along with a very sweet and patient personality makes it that much better. She was awesome. Food was great a always. A little pricey is my only complaint.

Stopped in while visiting the area. Small place, but there are 7 tables for eat-in. Everything is made to order, which is a good thing, but can take a bit if you are waiting. The place is constantly busy, but most people seem to be there to pick up or carry out their orders. We had burgers with steak fries and homemade red cream to drink -- everything was fantastic along with the service! Definitely recommend.

Iconic Alton burger joint. Known for the mini burgers (get 'em by the dozen), but don't overlook the flame grilled 1/2 pounder. They make their own root beer and red cream soda and they are fantastic.
